As turbochargers are often in high speed, high temperature work, the temperature of the exhaust gas turbine end of the turbocharger in 700-900 ℃, the Turbocharger rotor to tens of thousands of revolutions to more than 200,000 revolutions of high-speed rotation, so in order to ensure the normal work of the turbocharger, the use of the following points should be noted:

Do not accelerate immediately after ignition

After the engine is started, especially in winter, should let it idle for a period of time, in order to let the oil fully lubricate the bearings before the Turbocharger rotor high-speed operation. So just after the start must not blast the throttle to prevent damage to the turbocharger oil seal.

Do not immediately turn off the engine

After the engine runs at high speed for a long time, it cannot be turned off immediately. When the engine is working, part of the oil is supplied to the turbocharger rotor bearings for lubrication and cooling. After the engine is running suddenly shut down, the oil pressure quickly drop to zero, the high temperature of the turbo part of the Turbocharger to the middle, bearing support shell heat can not be quickly taken away, while the Turbocharger rotor is still in the inertia of high-speed rotation, therefore, the engine is hot state if the sudden shutdown, will cause the turbocharger stagnant oil overheating and damage to bearings and shafts. Especially to prevent the sudden shutdown after a few feet of throttle.

Keep it clean

When disassembling the Turbocharger, keep it clean, and each pipe joint must be plugged with a clean cloth to prevent debris from falling into the Turbocharger and damaging the rotor. When repairing, care should be taken not to damage the wheels by collision, and if the wheel needs to be replaced, it should be dynamically balanced for testing. After the reassembly is completed, remember to remove the blockage
