Today,I’d like to introduce you our non-standard parts in turbo CHRA/cartridge:Journal bearing and Piston Ring,which are also often found in repair kits.
Non-standard Journal bearing
For Journal bearing,most modifications are required on the outside diameter(short as OD) and inside diameter(short as ID).See below photo for these two diameter.
For non-standard journal bearing,we usually provide options of measure as below,you can also indicate the special size you need.
OE standard:
STD ID/STD OD
Supper OD:add the OD,and keep the standard ID:
STD ID/Super OD (+0.01mm/+0.005mm)
Minor ID:minus the ID,and keep the standard OD:
Minor ID(-0.01mm/-0.005mm)/ STD OD
Modified both OD and ID:
Minor ID(-0.01mm / -0.005mm)/Super OD (+0.01mm / +0.005mm)
Non-standard Piston Ring
For Piston Ring,most modifications are required on the outside diameter(short as OD) and width(short as W).See below photo for these two measures.
